Special Olympics New York has teamed up with adventure racing experts and all things muddy to bring you the Rugged Run for Respect!  This out-and-back course, complete
with 13 body-bending obstacles, will not only test physical strength and agility, but mental stability as well.  This 5k challenge consists of winding trails, steep wall climbs, rope spider webs and much more. Join the Special Olympics New York team as they get down and dirty!

Rugged Run for Respect is open to anyone (age 16 and over) willing to channel their inner competitor (and get roughed up along the way)!  For the triathlon expert, seasoned runner or cross fit buff, this race will give all

participants a run for their money! Each runner will receive an official Rugged
Run for Respect
race day t-shirt,

access to race day festivities and an experience of a lifetime. Runners can

sign up as individuals or as teams.
