Christmas Tree Brightens Holiday Spirit on Main Street

Rotary of Smithtown celebrates its annual tree-lighting ceremony on Sunday.

Residents huddled over hot cocoa watched as it a light snow began to fall, bringing a sense of magic to the air moments before the Christmas tree was lit at Smithtown Public LIbrary on Sunday. 

All Good Friends musical group joyfully entertained the crowd, singing and dancing their way through holiday carols with a sparkle in their eyes. Children though, race, to get  glimpse of Santa Claus as he arrived on firetruck.

After the tree lighting, all were invited to the Frank Brush Barn to meet Santa and warm up.
