Don't Miss: It's A Heritage Country Christmas In Smithtown

Smithtown Historical Society celebrates this holiday season with classic traditions.

Take a step back in time to enjoy the classic traditions of the holiday season this Saturday in Smithtown. 

Smithtown Historical Society will host its annual Heritage Country Christmas on Saturday, from 3 p.m. - 7 p.m on the society's grounds including the Judge J. Lawrence Smith Homestead and Epenetus Smith Tavern on Middle Country Road. 

Town of Smithtown residents can enjoy the sounds of Christmas as Bluegrass, brass and traditional Colonial musicans bring holiday classics to life. Be sure to take part or cast your vote in the community wreath contest, or try your hand at a Victorian craft. 

Other entertainment includes a traditional seasonal puppet show and Lionel trains in motion. Take a tour and learn more about Smithtown's historical houses. 

Gather round the bonfire for some Christmas caroling, and it's said Santa Claus will be stopping by from 4 p.m. - 6 p.m.
