Smithtown Fire Department's Christmas Parade Set for Saturday

Santa Claus begins visiting Smithtown at 5 p.m.

Santa Claus will be visiting Smithtown this Saturday. 

The Smithtown Fire Department's 34th annual Christmas Parade is scheduled to begin 5 p.m. Saturday. Santa Claus will be escorted around the community to see and meet with children before Christmas arrives. 

The parade begins at 5 p.m. on Main Street in Smithtown, and will be driving through area until 8 p.m. 

There will be three long stops along the route: Redwood Lane near the beginning of the parade at roughly 5:15 p.m., Meat Farms Shopping Center at approximately 6:30 p.m., and Smithtown High School West at 8 p.m. 

Residents are asked to participate in the Smithtown Fire Department's food drive by bringing non-perishable food donations to any one of the three viewing locations listed above.
