98. Feeling Good
Feeling good
After an intense day with too few hours
Has to be allowed.
As bedtime arrives,
Picking up my pen, I scribble my thoughts
Of this busy, happy day.
My business is diverse:
Office worker, window washer, plumber,
Grounds keeper, shopper, babysitter.
I hardly had time to write today
Which can be said of many other days
That begin with the prospect of having space.
Space to meander thinking
What has to be accomplished takes moments —
Not the whole morning and afternoon.
The Gibbous Moon greets
A sparkling Toddler enjoying a walk
With Me — and my Companion.
Precious days
Are chock full of little somethings that some
Think of as “nothing”.
