JWG's Grand Hodgepodge — Gay Marriage & Religion (2 poems)

Wherein JWG declares a sustainable World can exist only if we rid this planet of Hate.

81. Gay Marriage

Gay Marriage
Is scorned by those who believe God is mad
At same-sex couples.

God isn’t angry.
Ignorant People do not understand
That God admires those who Love.

God planned this World for Lovers.
God knew the problems of procreation.
Homosexuality was born.

A sustainable World can exist

Only if we rid this planet of Hate
Which means we must all get along and be loved.

Loving frightens those who delve
Solely in the past when our minds were young.
God, the Parent, allows us to grow.

With age comes Wisdom.
Technology and Sexuality
Are gifts to the enlightened.

Do not fear
Personal feelings that display deep Love
For Human Beings.

82. Religion

Religion
When organized tends to block “dissenters” —
Those who disagree.

Quoting words of Man
As if they were spoken by The Highest,
Leaders disrespect The Truth.

Making us fear the unknown
(Which the most Intelligent can’t discern)
We agree to follow in blind faith.

As long as we all live honest Lives,
Helping and Loving without any Hate,
There’s no need to worry about the future.

When the energy we have
Is transferred to another dimension,
The strength we have built up is stronger.

We shall continue
Travelling along a contorted path
With an assured countenance.

We’ve nothing
To make us scared of Life as we know it.
The Truth protects us.

With the budget "we" just passed? That can't be!

"Why are Smithtown teachers continuing to pay for school supplies out of their ownRead More pocket?" Since when? Ever see the big list of supplies kids get in their folders at the end of the year for them to bring in next year? I think you're talking about the wrong school district.
