55. When Humming

When Humming
The tune is usually quite merry.
This proves happiness.

When one is whistling,
One is either working or feeling good.
I’ve never heard sad whistling.

Sounds of passive contentment
Calm a disgruntled personality
Who imagined a hopeless future.

Once I heard someone who appeared sad
Humming a most glorious melody.
A ray of sunshine came over this blank face.

I looked into the lost eyes
With an encouraging smile on my face.
Still humming, the empty eyes smiled back.

Recalling good times
Helps anyone get through days of horror
Which overwhelm the Lost Souls.

It’s easy
To say, “Whistle and hum to be happy.”
I suggest trying.

56. I Love Moms

I love Moms
Who love their children and stand by them fast.
Moms are determined.

Determination
Can sometimes be misconstrued by Children
As keeping them from success.

For single-minded children
Who think that they, alone, know what is best,
Mothers are perceived as a big pain.

Fortunately, our Mothers let us
Explore our dreams we have had in our minds.
We have thanked them for their support and their Love.

I don’t mind being a boy
Who loves my Mothers with all my heart.
I, and my Love, are very lucky.

Mothers never leave.
They are forever with us in our minds.
They have taught us to be brave.

Moms are best
At soothing us all when we are distraught.
They are Great ladies.
