Bunny! Bunny! Zwerglipatch July 1, 2012 7:46 a.m. EDT
Today, in “The New York Times”, I read the wedding announcement of two young men. I stress “young” as they are in their mid-twenties. How fortunate that they can begin their lives not having to hide who they are. Opportunity. We who have seen change tend to forget that there are those among us who did not have to abide the horror forced onto us by so many. Yes, this horror has not totally been obscured. It exists. Yet, they who seize the opportunity to marry are today’s pioneers. They are the role model for their peers. I wish them success.
The comfort René and I now enjoy is accepted by many. It surprises us how being “married” is a non-issue.
