JWG's Necessity July 3 & 4, 2012

Wherein JWG will settle for nothing less than true Independence.

Zwerglipatch  July 3, 2012  7:26 a.m. EDT

This week of Independence has possibilities of empowerment. Yet, why do people still desire to quell our pursuit of Happiness? My gracious, facts and stark reality don’t do any good — it seems. And, it seems that being Out and Happy does no good. Will our Supreme Court hear our plea?

It seems to me to be an oddity of nature to be judged by one’s peers. They who speak of “equality” are the first to deny equal rights. This two-faced judgement is made over and over to antagonize those who only wish to live openly without fear of, well, being judged.

Independence Day is a day of rebellion. This year, my Butterfly War is being escalated. I will settle for nothing less than true Independence.

An extremely light rain falls on Zwerglipatch. These drops of rain stir the air’s mugginess.

On this Independence Day, the non-news is that a television journalist has come out of the closet to all. Anderson Cooper (who I have always liked — and known in that way one does) made the news for the fact that he did not make the news. This Nation is moving closer to acceptance.

As of this moment, I am accepting that this will be a rainy day in a stormy Country. The shower has grown. Each drop is a small “bomb bursting” on this Patio’s metal roof. I shan’t be flying our Flag today. In fact, I rather welcome this rainy day to go through some more of my papers. Yes, there is something to occupy my every moment.

These moments on the Zwerglipatch Patio, at my outdoor office, are especial even when they are not productive. Thankfully, I have the independence to do as I wish. Today, I wish to enjoy. That’s it. Enjoy. This rain is pleasant. I always enjoy a rainy day.

You are absolutely right pj. Its comparing apples to oranges. Assisted living is for the elderlyRead More that cant take care of themselves. What noise is created. They are indoors and at the age where driving may not be an option. And the facility faces Route 25A. A main corridor that has been used as a main road for over 50 years. A road that has gas stations, bars, hospitals, nursing homes, retail stores and high schools presently on it. Why not an assisted living.

Exactly. Don't see a problem having it. Many of them don't even go outdoors.

We have an assisted living center right next to our neighborhood. For the most part it is quiet,Read More there is not a lot more traffic, it even looks nice. I will take it over another strip mall, supermarket, bar any day . Like the previous poster wrote, it serves our community.
