Arthur Fairweather, an Army veteran and Smithtown resident, has died. He was 76 years old.
According to a Newsday obituary, Fairweather died on Dec. 16. Fairweather was the husband to Claire, father to Thomas and Susan Kuhnell, and grandfather to Amanda Kuhnell, Lauren Kuhnell, and Brian Kuhnell.
Visitation will be held Saturday at The Branch Funeral Home, located at 190 East Main Street in Smithtown from 11 a.m.- 1 p.m. The funeral service was held Friday at the Calverton National Cemetery.
