Former Smithtown resident Charles Celano has died. He was 85 years old.
According to the TC Palm obituary, Celano, who resided in Vero Beach, Fl, died on Oct. 21. Celano was a reservist with the Army National Guard, a member of the Chartered Life Underwriters Association, and a Director for the Metropolitan Life Insurance Company.
He met his wife Lydia of 61 years at he Metropolitan Life Insurance Company, the mother of his four children – his daughter Jeanne Masella; sons Charles, Vincent and John.
