Gerardo "Jerry" Crudele, a 35-year Smithtown resident, passed away March 26. He was 84 years old.
Crudele was born on June 11, 1928 in Solofra, Italy to Raffaella and Pietro. He was the adored husband of his beloved wife Anita (nee Mastroianni) for 59 years. Proud and devoted father of Gerard (Denise), Doreen Emburey (Bill) and Michael (Nancy). Beloved grandfather of Lauren, Katie, Beth, Courtney, Alexis, Taylor, Morgan, Jayden, Juliana, and Jackson. Dear brother of the late Teddy, Tom, Concetta, and Serafina.
Reposing is Tuesday and Wednesday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. at Commack Abbey Inc., located at 96 Commack Road in Commack. The Mass of a Christian Burial is Thursday at 10:30 a.m. at St. Patrick’s Roman Catholic Church in Smithtown. Interment at St. Charles Cemetery in Farmingdale.
