Former Smithtown resident Joseph Gallo has died.
According to the Newsday obituary, Gallo passed away Dec. 31, 2012. Gallo is survived by his daughters JoAnn O'Neill and Georgette Gallagher; and grandfather to Dawn and Christine.
The funeral mass will be held Friday at 11 a.m. at Sts. Philip & James Roman Catholic Church, located at 454 Route 25A in St. James, with the interment following at Calverton National Cemetery.
