Rosanne Lucchese, Smithtown Business Woman and Travel Agent, Dies

Memorial service to be held on Nov. 9 in Bayport.

Rosanne Lucchese, former owner and operator of Smithtown Travel, died on Oct. 19. She was 74. 

Lucchese, a Sayville resident, ran Smithtown Travel succesfully for more than 25 years, according to Newsday. In her spare time, Lucchese enjoyed getting together with her friends and singing in a group at local nursing homes. 

Lucchese is survived by by her husband, Richard; her children Susan Ohngemach (Douglas), Lisa Orzel (Thomas) and the late Linda; and many grandchildren. 

A memorial service for Lucchese's family and friends will be held on Nov. 9, 10:30 a.m. at the Bayport United Methodist Church, 482 Middle Road, Bayport. In lieu of flowers, donations in her memory can be made to: Good Shepherd Hospice Foundation, Community Relations Dept., 245ld Country Road, Melville, NY. 11747.
