Mary Miller, wife to former 14-year superintendent of the Smithtown Central School District Donald Miller, has died. She was 82 years old.
According to a Lehigh Valley Live obituary, Miller passed away Feb. 12. Miller is survived by her two children Donald and Kim Stanard, and seven grandchildren; Katherine Brown, Vanessa, Loretta, Larry Zwigart, Betsy, Kyle and Lauren Miller. Miller, who managed five departments and was an assistant buyer for Abraham & Strauss department store, was a 20-year Smithtown resident before moving to Belmont, Vt.
According to the obituaty, a memorial service was held at the Burroughs Funeral Home in Walnut Cove, NC on Feb. 17.
