The first Board of Education meeting for the Smithtown Central School District is set for 8 p.m. Tuesday. The meeting will take place in the Joseph A. Barton Building on New York Avenue.

UPDATE: A public hearing is set for 7:30 p.m. to cover the student transportation guidelines.
