The Smithtown Special Library District has gone through numerous renovations and expansion – as the Commack branch reopened the Kings Park branch closed and when the Nesconset branch reopens the Smithtown branch will close. Each branch holds events, meetings and more, but with these things going on and the numerous renovations implemented, is it enough to keep libraries relevant in today's technological savvy world?
