Question of the Day: Will You Be Attending a Parade on Memorial Day?

There are numerous parades throughout the Town of Smithtown on Monday for Memorial Day – will you attend any of them?

Monday is Memorial Day, and to celebrate there are numerous parades throughout the Town of Smithtown. In Smithtown specifically there is a , which begins at Singer Lane and ends at Town Hall. In St. James begnning at 10 a.m., VFW Post 395 will host a parade, which starts at the intersection of Woodland and Lake Avenue, then travels north to St. James Elementary School where Memorial Day services will be held. There are also parades in Kings Park and Commack Monday.

"Why are Smithtown teachers continuing to pay for school supplies out of their ownRead More pocket?" Since when? Ever see the big list of supplies kids get in their folders at the end of the year for them to bring in next year? I think you're talking about the wrong school district.
