Warning...suspicious men acting as Lipa employees

This happened yesterday in Smithown Scary experience today. Be aware and take note. While home today, there was a knock on my door around 2:25 pm (dogs barking like crazy). I asked who's there? It's LIPA and I would like to discuss your power. Told the guy 3x I was not interested. He paid no attention and continued telling me he wasn't trying to sell me anything and just wanted to discuss my power... Reminded him that I asked him to leave 3x and now I'm calling the cops. He said it was OK, he's working with them! I called 911 and as I watched him through the window and as he heard me, he remained at my door. He decided to leave and hopped in his Grey Ford Explorer and took off. Cops couldn't locate him. White Male -approximately 6'0 - 6'1- dark mustache / ski hat / black sunglasses. He was carrying a clip board, yet no paper attached to it. LIPA is now PSE&G as we all know, first red flag. They carry badges for Id purposes and I was told they never perform random knock on the door visits. Also, when he hopped in his car, he was talking to someone the second he got in, no phone in sight nor was there enough time to dial, happened to quick and I didn't see this person he was talking to. Make what you want out of this, but remember to not open your door and be aware of your surroundings. I have underground utilities too. Be safe.
