I really miss cheap movies at the Smithtown movie theater. I LOVED seeing movies there :-(

A Clam bar type of restaurant at short or long beach with live bands and lobster ! Like the Beach Bar in Babylon! :)

That is a great idea Jennifer, I hear it is ridiculously difficult to get anything going in that area but it is a fantastic idea!

The Gold Coast was a decrepit bar on the corner of 25A and Moriches Road. Back in the day, one could use a razor blade and scratch off a bar on yor birth date on you driver's license and change the date to make you older. Drinking age was 18 and a lot of us were under age, but we got in and listened to great music and swilled beer. Ahhhhh, the good ol days, but I'd ground my daughter for doing something like that today!

Billy Blakes was a place where you could buy just about anything! It was a very inexpensive department store. Suffolk Stores was terrific too. I really miss that place.

Yep, on Boney Lane, just around the final bend heading to Short Beach. It was on the right in the stone wall.

or the beach in Westhampton! Great idea. Sunken Meadow's restaurant night is a good one.
