Will You Frequent Another Local Frozen Yogurt Shop?

With the addition of Yogurtini, Smithtown now has three frozen yogurt shops within minutes of each other.

The sign for Yogurtini recently made its way onto the awning in the same shopping center as Starbucks, Baja Grill and Sleepy's. The establishment is a self-serve frozen yogurt shop.

In the very next shopping center east of Yogutrini is Red Mango, and further east on the corner of Main Street and Route 111 is The Lite Choice, both serving frozen yogurt as well.

With each store being within walking distance of each other, will you support a new frozen yogurt shop? Or will you stick with the ones you know and have shopped at before?

My boyfriend and I won't eat Red Mango - it's too tart and it upset his stomach. So that leaves the Lite Choice Yogurtini AND don't forget Sertinos - their flavors are limited, but the French Vanilla is very good, and more reasonably priced than the Lite Choice. I'll definitely go to Yogurtini when it opens - as long as it doesn't taste like Red Mango, and it sounds like the majority of the flavors won't, then I'm sure it will do well in town. It's good to give people multiple options, and then let them support each of the shops that they like. I actually like that Sertinos weighs the yogurt to make sure that it's actually 3 oz or whatever the small is...helps with portion-watching :)

My wife and I both love Red Mango. We find the tart, fruity flavors and fresh toppings very refreshing. Sertinos is OK but I found it too creamy. It was too much like ice cream. If I want that I can go to Carvel. I haven't tried Lite Choice but I will soon.

I was in the center and was able to take a look inside - wow, great looking place. Finally a yogurt place with enough room to hang out and enjoy. Great looking colors. Not too fond of Red Mango taste. Haven't tried Sertinos yet (I guess I should). Looking forward to trying this Yogurtini
