I was wondering how to give support to the local food pantry on Brooksite Dr. In previous years I thought I purchased food bags at Stop & Shop. This year it seems they have boxes that are going to another agency. Does anyone know how to support this charity?

They always accept donations Monday-Friday from 9am -12pm.

There is a box in the back that is secure if you cannot make those hours. If its full of bread (it happens) you can leave it on top, they told me that was fine. If you have a HUGE donation, I have a contact or you can call the Lutheran Church on Woodlawn Ave as well as St Patricks church rectories after pantry hours.

They are indoors and at the age where driving may not be an option. And the facility faces Route 25A. A main corridor that has been used as a main road for over 50 years. A road that has gas stations,bars, hospitals, nursing homes, retail stores and high schools presently on it. Why not an assisted living.
