dont blame the bicyclist for riding their bike on a bike route in a dedicated bike lane. blame the driver that was under the influence and swerved through the bike lane onto the grass and was arrested on scene for intoxication.

I completely agree with "Smithtown Athlete." The problem here is the drunk driver and not the cyclist.

I agree - this hospital is horrible. Not enough room here to get into why - but they are the worst!

I believe that I have seen signs that designates 25A as a bike route. Its as bad as Old Northport Road being a bike route too - huge trucks going zooming by and some of the turns on that road are blind turns. Im suprised someone hasnt been seriously hurt there too!

I concur... St Catherine's is terrible is the emergency medicine department. They disregarded the heart attack I was having at the time and told me to stand in the waiting room and "wait with the rest of them, We'll call you when it's your turn"... good stuff. Good thing I have a cardiologist in the family that lead me in the right direction in my emergency situation and i went elsewhere to help avoid permanent damage
