Crime Report: DWI; Selling Alcohol to a Child
The following arrest information was supplied by the Suffolk County Police Department. It does not indicate a conviction.
Suffolk County Police Department Fourth Precinct reported these arrests and incidents in Smithtown during Nov. 4 - 8.
Kevin Soukup, 22, of Smithtown was arrested Nov. 8 in Smithtown and charged with aggravated unlicensed operation of a vehicle and possession of stolen property. Soukup was driving with a suspended license when he was stopped heading north on Brookside Avenue at 12:23 p.m.
James Mason, 24, of Islandia was arrested Nov. 8 in Smithtown for possession of a controlled substance in the seventh degree.

Hamed Rezakhan, 27, of Miller Place was arrested Nov. 4 in Smithtown and charged with first offense DWI. Reports state he was driving a 2010 Honda the wrong way on Bank Street.
Jatinder Kumar, 34, of Smithtown was arrested Nov. 4 in Smithtown for the unlawful dealing of alcohol to a child. Jatinder is accused of selling a 22-ounce can of Keystone Ice to a person under the age of 21.

Edward Surrette, 29, of Head of the Harbor was arrested Nov. 4 and charged with second degree aggravated harrassment. Surrette was on Sunken Meadow Road when he allegedly threatened someone over the phone.
