Crime Report: Aggravated Unlicensed Operation and Petit Larceny Charge
A blotter of the latest arrests and incidents in the Fourth Precinct.
Suffolk County Police Department Fourth Precinct reported these arrests and incidents in Smithtown during Dec. 24—Jan. 2:
Paul Gibson, 39, of Uniondale was arrested Dec. 30 in Smithtown and charged with aggravated first degree unlicensed operation, and DWI. Reports state Gibson was driving without a license and police say he was also driving while intoxicated.
Devon Breedy, 27, of Copiague was arrested Dec. 29 in Smithtown and charged with petit larceny. Reports state Breedy stole perfume from a store located in the Smithaven Mall.

John Hill, 58, Ronkonkoma was arrested Dec. 26 in Smithtown and charged with second degree criminal contempt. Reports state Hill disobeyed an order of protection and further information could not be provided.
None of the defendants have been convicted of a crime, but were arrested for the charges listed above. They are innocent until proven guilty in a court of law. If any of the above charges have been acquitted, in order for removal from publication, one must write the writer and provide proof of dismissal.
