Crime Report: Credit Card Theft, Rifle Fired in Yard
The following arrest information was supplied by the Suffolk County Police Department. It does not indicate a conviction.
Suffolk County Police Department Fourth Precinct reported these arrests and incidents in Smithtown during July 12-19.
Joy Zierau, 39, of Centereach was arrested July 19 in Smithtown and charged with fourth degree credit card theft. Reports indicate Zierau knowlingly possessed a stolen credit card and allegedly attempted to use it at BP Gas located on Old Nicolls Rd., Smithtown.
James Taylor, 48, of Hauppauge was arrested July 17 in Smithtown and charged with first degree reckless endangerment. Reports indicate Taylor allegedly fired a rifle into the air in a backyard on July 4.

Daniel Probeck, 21, of Ronkonkoma was arrested July 16 in Smithtown and charged with second degree robbery. Reports indicate Probeck allegedly took an unknown persons wallet at Shelter Rd., Rockonkoma at approximately 12:45 a.m. It is unknown if he took the wallet from backpack or someone’s person.

Francis Cummings, 51, of Commack was arrested July 16 in Smithtown and charged with writing a false statement. Reports indicate Cummings allegedly signed a statement that he knew was false.
Kim Guilfoyle, 47, of Smithtown was arrested July 15 in Smithtown and charged with third degree criminal trespassing. Reports indicate Guilfoyle allegedly entered the building of Ivy League elementary school located on Brooksite Dr., Hauppauge. Reports indicate she allegedly drove onto the property behind a fence and refused to leave.
Christopher Plamondon, 20, of Bayshore was arrested July 13 in Smithtown and charged with loitering unlawful use of a controlled substance. Reports indicate Plamondon allegedly possessed heroin in a 2008 Nissan at approximately 2:05 a.m. The incident occurred on Main St., Smithtown.
William Lockwood, IV, 19, of Huntington was arrested July 13 in Smithtown and charged with seventh degree criminal possession of a controlled substance. Reports indicate Lockwood allegedly possessed heroin and a hypodermic instrument in a 2008 Nissan at approximately 2:05 a.m. The incident occurred on Main St., Smithtown.
Steven Conroy, 19, of Smithtown was arrested July 13 in Smithtown and charged with loitering unlawful use of a controlled substance. Reports indicate Conroy allegedly possessed heroin and a hypodermic instrument in a 2008 Nissan at approximately 2:05 a.m. The incident occurred on Main St., Smithtown.
Samantha Badillo, 19, of Bayshore was arrested July 13 in Smithtown and charged with loitering unlawful use of a controlled substance. Reports state she allegedly possessed heroin and a hypodermic instrument in a 2008 Nissan at approximately 2:05 a.m. The incident occurred on Main St., Smithtown.
Kani Bilgen, 19, of Central Islip was arrested July 13 in Smithtown and charged with seventh degree criminal possession of a controlled substance. Reports indicate Bilgen allegedly possessed heroin and a hypodermic instrument in a 2008 Nissan at approximately 2:05 a.m. The incident occurred on Main St., Smithtown.

Diego Puin, 24, of Brentwood was arrested July 13 in Smithtown and charged with first offense DWI. Reports indicate Puin was arrested at Old Nicolls Rd. and Terry Rd., Smithtown at approximately 9:30 p.m. Reports indicate Puin was allegedly operating a 2005 Mazda while intoxicated.
Jason Gerondel, 34, of East Islip was arrested July 12 in Smithtown and charged with second degree burglary. Reports indicate Gerondel allegedly broke into a home located on New Mill Rd., Smithtown.
Stephania Belfond, 32, of Smithtown was arrested July 12 in Smithtown and charged with fourth degree grand larceny. Reports indicate Belfond attempted to allegedly use an unknown person’s credit card.
