Crime Report: Nesconset Duo Allegedly Robs Home

The following arrest information was supplied by the Suffolk County Police Department. It does not indicate a conviction.

Suffolk County Police Department Fourth Precinct reported these arrests and incidents in Smithtown during Feb. 24 - March 2.

Julio Marca, 48, of Jackson Heights, allegedly stole bins bins of donated items on Jan. 5, according to police, and was arrested in Smithtown on March 1 for the Jan. 5 theft on a charge of petty larceny, a misdemeanor.

A duo from Nesconset was arrested in Nesconset on Feb. 27 after police said they stole jewelry from a home on Jan. 3 at 3:45 p.m. Police arrested John Mitchell, 27, and Nicholas Mitchell, 20, both of Nesconset each on a charge of second-degree burglary, a felony.
