Suffolk County Police Department reported these arrests and incidents in Smithtown.
Benedetto Gambino, 35, of St. James was arrested and charged for a first offense DWI on July 7. Gambino was found driving north on Edgewood Avenue over the speed limit and without his headlights on. He was arrested on Landing Avenue.
Colleen Leary, 21, of Commack was arrested also for first offense DWI charges on July 5. Leary was involved in a car accident where she struck another vehicle going westbound on route 25.
Thomas Ellis, 33, of Hauppauge was arrested and charged with operating a vehicle impaired by drugs on July 3. Ellis was driving on Brooksight Drive and crashed because he was under the influence of drugs.
Vincent Bogdanowich, 30, of East Islip was arrested for grand larceny charges on July 3. Bogdanowich was found on 6th Avenue with stolen jewlery.
