Crime Report: Laptop, Bank Deposit Bag Stolen Locally
The following arrest information was supplied by the Suffolk County Police Department. It does not indicate a conviction.
Suffolk County Police Department Fourth Precinct reported these arrests and incidents in Smithtown during May 6 - 12.
Elizabeth Mockler, 23, of Bay Shore, was arrested on May 12 in Smithtown at 4:15 a.m. on first-offense DWI charges. Reports state Mockler was arrested driving a 2007 Infiniti on West Jericho Turnpike.
Jessica Lemp, 21, of St. James, was arrested on May 12 in Smithtown at 8 p.m. on third-degree grand larceny charges. Reports state Lemp was arrested on Veterans Highway after she stole a bank deposit bag that contained money as well as a wallet with credit cards from a car.

Christopher Buckley, 22, of Farmingville, was arrested on May 11 in Smithtown at 2:50 a.m. on first-offense DWI charges. Reports state Buckley was arrested at the intersection of Route 25 and Route 111 while operating a 2008 Jeep.
Christopher Grote, 18, of Smithtown, was arrested on May 6 in Smithtown on fourth-degree grand larceny with property of less than $1,000 charges. Reports state Grote took a Macbook Pro laptop on May 5 at 6:15 p.m. from a 2006 Jeep on Wyandanch Boulevard.
