The most recent arrest and incident activity in the Smithtown area from the Suffolk County Police Department.

Arrests:

  • Aug. 19: Salvatore Cioffi, from Smithtown, was arrested in Hauppauge for menacing with a weapon.
  • Aug. 17: Matthew Ing, from Bayshore, was arrested for burglary in St. James. 
  • Aug 17: Robert Romano, from Ronkonkoma, was arrested in Smithtown for burglary.
  • Aug. 16: Frank Capolino, from Smithtown, was arrested in Smithtown for harassment with physical contact.
  • Aug. 14: Roxanne Irish, from Levittown, was arrested in Smithtown for DWI- 1st offence.
