Crime Report: Resisting Arrest, Order of Protection Violation

The following arrest information was supplied by the Suffolk County Police Department. It does not indicate a conviction.

Suffolk County Police Department Fourth Precinct reported these arrests and incidents in Smithtown during Aug. 1-9.

Michael Frank, 19, of Smithtown was arrested Aug. 9 in Smithtown and charged with resisting arrest, third degree burglary, and three counts of third degree criminal mischief. Reports state Frank was arrested after he allegedly kicked the windshield of a 1999 Jeep on North County Complex at approximately 2 p.m.  

James Cowie, 26, of Smithtown was arrested Aug. 8 in Smithtown and charged with criminal obstruction. No other details can be provided.

Jessica Alagna, 26, of Amityville was arrested Aug. 8 in Smithtown and charged with third degree criminal mischief. Reports state Alagna was arrested after she allegedly keyed a 2008 Honda Pilot on Nesconset Hwy., Hauppauge at approximately 12:30 p.m.    

Stefan Bello, 38, of Smithtown was arrested Aug. 7 in Smithtown and charged with two counts of second degree criminal contempt. Reports state Bello allegedly violated an order of protection.

Milos Vukcevic, 27, of Hauppauge was arrested Aug. 6 in Smithtown and charged with first degree operation of a motor vehicle while impaired by drugs. Reports state Vukcevic was arrested after allegedly operating a 1994 Mitsubishi while impaired by drugs at 10:43 p.m.

Kenneth Brenkert, 49, of Centereach was arrested Aug. 4 in Smithtown and charged with petty larceny. Reports state Brenkert was arrested for the alleged theft of baby formula from a CVS store.    

Paul Coletti, 46, of Deer Park was arrested Aug. 3 in Smithtown and charged with petty larceny. Reports state Coletti was arrested for the alleged theft of assorted merchandise from a Shop Rite.    

Nicole Ellington, 19, of Coram was arrested Aug. 3 in Smithtown and charged with leaving the scene of a motor vehicle crash. Reports state Ellington was arrested after she struck a 2009 Hyundai on Suffolk Ave., Central Islip and allegedly left the scene. It was noted Ellington was operating a 2000 Hyundai.

Bryan Gilroy, 27, of Ronkonkoma was arrested Aug.  2 in Smithtown and charged with criminal obstruction. Reports state Gilroy allegedly placed his hands around a female’s neck and held her to the ground.    

Kyle Rieeff, 19, of Kings Park was arrested Aug. 2 in Smithtown and charged with second degree burglary. Reports state Rieeff was arrested for allegedly entering a residence through a basement window and the theft of a laptop computer. This incident occurred on Nicolette Ct., Commack at approximately 7 p.m.
