Crime Report: Separate Victims Allegedly Threatened with Knives

The following arrest information was supplied by the Suffolk County Police Department. It does not indicate a conviction.

Suffolk County Police Department Fourth Precinct reported these arrests and incidents in Smithtown during Feb. 10-16.

Police said Patrice Germain, 45, of Brentwood, chased another man, threatening him with a knife. Police also said Germain called the victim to make threats and threw a bowl against a wall, damaging property. Germain was arrested in Smithtown on Feb. 14 on a charge of second-degree aggravated harassment, a misdemeanor; a charge of second-degree menacing, a misdemeanor; and a charge of criminal mischief with intent to damage property, a misdemeanor.

According to police, Jose Fuentes, 35, of Smithtown, was arrested in Smithtown on Feb. 11 on a charge of assault with intent to cause physical injury with a weapon, a felony. Police said Fuentes attempted to injure a woman with a knife.

Police arrested Nicole Caronia, 25, of Smithtown, on Feb. 13 in Smithtown after she allegedly stole cash, checks and used bank cards that did not belong to her. Caronia was arrested on a third-degree grand larceny charge, a felony.

"Why are Smithtown teachers continuing to pay for school supplies out of their ownRead More pocket?" Since when? Ever see the big list of supplies kids get in their folders at the end of the year for them to bring in next year? I think you're talking about the wrong school district.
