Crime Report: Smithtown Man Charged With Stealing Commack F.D. Tents

The following arrest information was supplied by the Suffolk County Police Department. It does not indicate a conviction.

Suffolk County Police Department Fourth Precinct reported these arrests and incidents in Smithtown during Sept. 28 - Oct. 3.

Enoc Lucca, 25, of Central Islip, was arrested in Smithtown on Sept. 29 on DWI with a previous conviction in 10 years charges. Reports state Lucca was arrested after being pulled over on East Main Street for stopping at a green light and holding up traffic in a 1996 BMW. Lucca has a previous DWI conviction.

Anthony Fazio, 26, of Smithtown, was arrested in Smithtown on Oct. 1 on fourth degree grand larceny charges, with property value exceeding $1,000. Reports state Fazio was arrested on Oct. 1 stemming from a June 30 incident where he allegedly took pop-up tents from the Commack Fire Department.

Jason Gabriel, 27, of Commack, was arrested in Smithtown on Oct. 1 on three separate forcible touching charges. Reports state Gabriel squeezed the buttocks of women on three separate dates – June 5 on Veterans Highway in Commack, June 28 on Veterans Highway in Commack, and June 28 on Crooked Hill Road in Commack.

Patrick Evans, 21, of St. James, was arrested Sept. 26 in Stony Brook and charged with first-offense DWI and aggravated DWI with a blood-alcohol content of .18 or higher, both misdemeanors. Police said Evans was intoxicated when he rear-ended another car while driving on Nicolls Rd. near Oxhead Rd. at 7:30 p.m.
