Crime Report: Stolen Plum Trees and Other Valuables

A blotter of the latest arrests and incidents in the Fourth Precinct.

The Suffolk County Police Department Fourth Precinct reported these arrests and incidents in Smithtown during Aug. 28 - Sept. 3:

Arrests:

  • No arrests to report at this time. 

Incidents:

  • On Aug. 29, an unknown person stole two cherry plum trees off of a driveway entrance.
  • On Aug. 29, an unknown person broke the driver side rear view mirror on a 1998 Dodge vehicle.
  • On Aug. 30, a mailbox end post was broken.
  • On Aug. 30, a wallet and debit cards were removed from a vehicle in a parking lot.
  • On Aug. 31, an ongoing dispute between co-workers at Blacksmith Tavern occurred.
  • On Aug. 31, a GPS was removed from a 1994 Oldsmobile.
  • On Aug. 31, two satellite radios were stolen from a Toyota Sequoia.
  • On Aug. 31, money and jewelry were stolen from a home in Smithtown.
