Crime Report: Tree Vs. Car, Petit Larceny, and Trespassing

The following information was supplied by the Suffolk County Police Department. A criminal charge is only an accusation, and does not indicate convictions

Suffolk County Police Department Fourth Precinct reported these arrests and incidents in Smithtown during April 27-May 2.

Karen Rivas, 19, of Mastic Beach was arrested May 5 in Smithtown and charged with leaving the scene of an accident. Reports indicate Rivas was arrested on Route 454, Smithtown. Reports indicate Rivas allegedly left the scene of a crash. Reports also state she was operating a 1998 Nissan Maxima and crashed into a tree.   

Margaret Garcia, 49, of East Northport was arrested May 2 in Smithtown and charged with petit larceny. Reports indicate Gracia allegedly stole multiple household items from a store located at 2185 Route 25.    

Mansa Murray, 39, of Deer Park was arrested May 1 in Smithtown and charged with DWI. Reports state Murray was arrested on Route 25, Smithtown for the alleged operation of a 2007 Hyundai while intoxicated.    

Kathy Cilbrasi, 62, of Smithtown was arrested May 1 in Smithtown and charged with second degree aggravated harassment. Reports indicate Cilbrasi was arrested on Terry Rd., Smithtown for allegedly making threatening phone messages.    

Lynita Gay, 37, of Dix Hills was arrested May 1 in Smithtown and charged with petit larceny. Reports indicate Gay allegedly stole household items from an unknown store.   

A seventeen year old female, of Smithtown was arrested April 29 in Smithtown and charged with DWI. Reports indicate she allegedly operated a 1999 Chevy while intoxicated.    

George Gridelli, 61, of East Norwich was arrested April 29 in Smithtown and charged with third degree criminal trespassing. Reports indicate Gridelli was arrested on Veterans Memorial Highway, Smithtown for the alleged home invasion.
