Crimes Nearby: Knife Held to Neck in Kings Park

The following arrest information was supplied by the Suffolk County Police Department. It does not indicate a conviction.

Suffolk County police reported the following arrests.

Kings Park

Chad Whitbeck, 37, of Kings Park was arrested and charged with menacing on July 19. According to police, Whitbeck went to the victims house and threatened the victim by holding a knife up to his neck.

Rachel Dreher, 35, of East Northport was arrested for first offense DWI charges on July 11. Police said that Dreher was driving down Somers Lane in Commack at 11:30 p.m. in her 2006 Acura, where she crashed into a parked car and continued driving where she crossed over to the wrong side of the road and hit a tree.

Isiah Taylor, 21, of Greenlawn was arrested with first offense DWI charges on July 20. Police said Taylor was on Route 25 in Northport when he crashed into a pole. Police also found marijuana on him while being arrested.

Three Village

Jennifer O'Leary, 25, of Stony Brook, was arrested July 19 at 11:10 a.m. in South Setauket and charged with petty larceny. Police said O'Leary, who was also arrested in June after at supermarkets, stole food, computer equipment, and other items from Stop & Shop in South Setauket.

Melvin Brown, 33, of Middle Island, was arrested July 16 in Setauket and charged with petty larceny and second-degree forgery. Police said Brown stole an air conditioner and clothing from Walmart in East Setauket.

James Neppell, 26, whom police say is homeless, was arrested July 10 and charged with third-degree grand larceny. Neppell allegedly made numerous unauthorized withdrawals from another person's account at HSBC in East Setauket between June 1 and June 18. Neppell was also charged with two counts of second-degree criminal contempt, for which no additional information was available.

Commack

Walter Holley, 32, of Brentwood was arrested for first offense DWI charges on July 15. According to police, Holley was reportedly found driving on the wrong side of Jericho Turnpike in Commack at 5 a.m.

Joshua Mathew, 20, of Commack was arrested for first offense DWI charges on July 13. Police said Mathew was involved in a car accident on Straight Path and the Service road in Dix Hills, where he was found to be under the influence of alcohol.

Michael Stroman, 30, of Jamaica, was arrested and charged with petit larceny on July 13. Police said Stroman was caught stealing a saw blade from a store at 10 a.m. on Crooked Hill Road in Commack.

Hauppauge

Shamikqua Jones, 34, of Bayshore, was arrested and charged with assault with intention to cause injury on July 16. According to the police, Jones was seen punching another female in the face in Hauppauge.

Joseph Mulligan, 42, of Brentwood, was arrested and charged criminal possession of a substance in the fifth degree on July 19. Police said they received a 911 call from a person at 2050 Express Drive North in Hauppauge, claiming there was drug activity in the area. When police arrived, the officers found cocaine on Mulligan.

Peter Balsamo, 25, of Smithtown, was arrested for first offense DWI charges on July 17. Police said Balsamo was driving in Hauppauge when he was pulled over at a traffic stop and charged for driving while intoxicated.

Port Jefferson

A Port Jefferson Station woman and another woman from Coram were arrested and charged with multiple burglaries, including homes in Port Jefferson Station, Coram and Ridge, according to police.

Christina Sherman, 21, of Port Jefferson Station, and Anna Joskowska, 21, of Coram are accused of robbing a total of eight area homes of property including jewelry and in one instance police said that Joskowska, acting alone, might have stolen cash.

Sean McMahon, 42, of Medford, was arrested on Route 112 in Port Jefferson Station on July 10 and charged with petit larceny and disorderly conduct. Police said that McMahon was spotted by a security guard allegedly taking items from the without paying for them. When the guard from Arrow Security approached him about the shoplifting incident, McMahon allegedly pushed him. Police report that an hour later, McMahon was in where he used obscene language. He was arrested at 5 p.m. at Mather.

Miller Place-Rocky Point

Steven Guiffre, 48, of Mt. Sinai, was arrested July 16 in Mt. Sinai and charged with petty larceny. Guiffre allegedly stole a Rug Doctor carpet cleaner between on from Kohl’s in Rocky Point on June 24.

Randolph Joseph, 26, of Rocky Point, was arrested July 16 in Port Jefferson Station and charged with second degree robbery. Joseph allegedly attempted to rob an individual on Main Street, Port Jefferson Station at approximately 5 a.m. by punching and kicking the victim on his face, head and body.

Lisa Kelly, 46, of Miller Place, was arrested July 15 in Selden and charged with petty larceny. Kelly was arrested at College Plaza, Selden at approximately 11:30 a.m. for allegedly putting five uniform shirts and one pair of uniform pants into her purse while she was in the fitting room of Life Uniform Store and leaving the store without paying for them.
