Crimes Nearby: Stolen Fire Department Statue; Pushing a Police Officer

The following arrest information was supplied by the Suffolk County Police Department. It does not indicate a conviction.

Suffolk County police reported the following arrests.

Kings Park

Michael McAssey, 19, of Northport, was arrested Jan. 5 in Kings Park and charged with petit larceny. He is accused of stealing a statue from in front of the Kings Park Fire Department at 12:35 a.m.

Emilio Fusco, 18, and Justin Pardo, 18, both of Kings Park, were arrested Jan. 4 and charged with drug possession. Fusco was charged with seventh degree possession of a controlled substance and Pardo was charged with fifth degree criminal possession of marijuana. They were allegedly sitting in a car near the intersection of 25A and St. Johnland Road at the time of the arrest.

Three Village

Thomas Seaton, 45, of Coram, was arrested Jan. 4 at about 9:45 p.m. at  and charged with first offense DWI. Seaton was driving near the intersection of Route 25A and Miller Place Road in Miller Place when police said he struck another vehicle, crushing the leg of a female victim inside. The woman  at Stony Brook.

Joseph Ioppolo, 44, of Uniondale, was arrested Jan. 3 and charged with second degree criminal trespassing. Residents of an Earland Road home in Stony Brook returned home and discovered Ioppolo inside, according to police.

Hauppauge

Marco Iannelli, 49, of Medford, was arrested Jan. 3 in Nesconset and charged with first-degree criminal contempt and first offense DWI. He is accused of intentionally breaking a window of a home on Midwood Avenue, where Ronald LaPort, 44, lives. LaPort was charged with disorderly conduct for allegedly engaging in a fight. 

Alexander Geiger, 32, of Holtzville, and Mark Allen, 39, of Brentwood, were arrested and charged with second-degree criminal possession of marijuana. The men are accused of possessing more than a pound of marijuana in a 2001 Honda on Express Drive North in Islandia.

Port Jefferson

A 17-year old minor, of Port Jefferson Station, was arrested Dec. 30 and charged with second degree menacing. He allegedly displayed a rifle during an argument on Parnet Court.

Justin Wachter, 18, of Port Jefferson Station, was arrested Jan. 1 at about 12:45 a.m. and charged with criminal mischief. He reportedly punched the glass of a storm door and a bedroom glass window from a house on Paul Street.

Jhonatan Guzman, 30, of Terryville, was arrested Jan. 1 at about 3:11 p.m. and charged with second degree harassment. He was on Hewes Street when he allegedly pushed a police officer.

Miller Place-Rocky Point

Four individuals were arrested on drug charges - one with intent to sell - on Dec. 30 on Lavender Road in Rocky Point. According to police, Robert M. Vona III, 26, of Rocky Point, was charged with third degree possession of a controlled substance, a narcotic drug with intent to sell. The following three were charged with criminal possession of a controlled substance: James Sorce, 32, of Rocky Point; Merissa Caskey, 32, of Rocky Point; and a 16-year-old minor. 

Gregory Gowrie, 27, of Mount Sinai, was arrested Jan. 1 at about 9:24 a.m. and charged with two counts of harassment and one count of criminal mischief. He was at 460 Old Town Road in Port Jefferson Station when he allegedly slapped a female victim in face, made a verbal threat, and threw an item at a sliding glass door, shattering a pane of glass.

Corey Carson, 26, of Ridge, was arrested Jan. 1 and at about 3:00 p.m. and charged with criminal mischief, fourth degree grand larceny, and unauthorized use of a vehicle without the owner's consent. He allegedly broke into a vehicle in the parking lot of Planet Fitness in Rocky Point, took a pocketbook, and used the vehicle.

Northport

Michael Dietz, 48, from East Northport was arrested on Jericho Turnpike in East Northport on Jan. 5 and charged with first degree aggravated unlicensed operation with more than 10 suspensions.

Justin Walsh, 31, from Eatons Neck was arrested in Eatons Neck on Dec. 28 and charged with criminal contempt, second degree disobeying the court, after sending text messages to a woman in violation of a protection order.
