Crimes Nearby: Fake Credit Card Used to Purchase iPad

The following arrest information was supplied by the Suffolk County Police Department. It does not indicate a conviction.

Suffolk County police reported the following arrests.

Kings Park

Kathleen Abruzzo, 44, of East Northport, was arrested Nov. 26 in Fort Salonga and charged with first offense DWI. She allegedly lost control of her 1997 Dodge and struck a mailbox and a tree.

Arnold Ehrlich, 51, of Kings Park, was arrested Nov. 26 in Commack and charged with first offense DWI. Reports state Ehrlich fell asleep in a 2011 Hyundai with the engine running on Town Line Road.

Commack

Andre Flemming, 21, of Elmont, and Kendall Higgins, 22, of Cambria Heights, were arrested Nov. 26 in Commack and charged with fourth degree grand larceny. They are accused of using a fake credit card to purchase an iPad and numerous other electronics.

Steven Schmitz, 36, of Ronkonkoma, was arrested Nov. 25 and charged with criminal mischief: intent to damage property. He is accused of smashing and breaking the cell phone of a female victim.

Hauppauge

Vanessa Crowell, 27, of Islandia, and Sanderson Fleurinay, 37, of Wyandanch, were arrested Nov. 29 and charged with seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance. Officers found them in a 2002 Cadillac on Veterans Memorial Highway and were allegedly in possession of a plastic bag containing prescription pills, according to police reports. 

Allison Small, 25, of Northport, was arrested Nov. 28 in Hauppauge and charged with fourth-degree grand larceny. She is accused of forging stolen checks.

Cameron Kohler, 35, of Huntington, was arrested Nov. 25 in Hauppauge and charged with operating a motor vehicle while impaired by drugs. Kohler was arrested after allegedly driving the wrong way on Raoul Wallenberg Drive, a one-way street.

Port Jefferson

Rene Alvarez, 31, from Port Jefferson, was arrested on Nov. 28 at about 3:10 p.m. and charged with disorderly conduct: obstructing traffic. He allegedly walked into oncoming motor vehicle traffic on Jayne Blvd. in Port Jefferson Station, obstructing traffic.

Richard Bartley, 51, an undomiciled man was arrested on Nov. 30 on Terryville Road in Port Jefferson Station and charged with a second offense violation of the sex offender registry.

William Keenan, 46, from Patchogue, was arrested on Dec. 1 on Jayne Blvd. in Port Jefferson Station and charged with aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle. He reportedly has 18 revocations from eight different dates.

Miller Place-Rocky Point

Oscar Alvarez, 25, an undomiciled man, was arrested on Dec. 1 at about 7:20 p.m. and charged with criminal mischief with intent to damage property. He was found by King Road and Polk Street in Rocky Point after allegedly puncturing rear driver side tire of a Ford F-250.

Eric Smarrelli, 27, from Miller Place, was arrested on Nov. 29 at about 5:30 p.m. and charged with first degree operation of a motor vehicle while impaired by drugs. He was arrested after reportedly crashing a 2001 Toyota on Route 347 in Setauket.

Jason Annunziato, 22, from Wading River, was arrested on Nov. 28. He allegedly refused an officer's attempt to pull him over on Route 25A in Rocky Point and fled the scene. He was charged with reckless driving, fleeing a police offer and committing several traffic violations while fleeing.
