Kings Park Man Facing Child Pornography Charges Arrested Again

A Kings Park man out on bail after being arrested in April on charges of child pornography has been arrested again — this time on a driving while intoxicated charge.

According to online court records, Raymond J. McCarthy, 70, was arrested April 17 for possession of child pornography, a felony. McCarthy was also charged with multiple counts of misdemeanor harassment.

He was arraigned on April 18  and released on a $1,000 cash bond, according to the documents.

McCarthy was arrested, again, on June 10 on the DWI charge. According to online court records, McCarthy was driving in excess of 55 mph and was unable to stay in his lane. He also refused to take a breath test, according to records.

McCarthy, who is free on bail, is due back in Suffolk County Criminal Court July 17 on the child pornography charges and then in First District Court on  Aug. 17 on the drunken driving allegation.
