Crimes Nearby: Marijuana Possession; Assault

The following arrest information was supplied by the Suffolk County Police Department. It does not indicate a conviction.

Suffolk County police reported the following arrests.

Commack

Thomas Scandura, 20, of Commack, was arrested Nov. 15 in Commack and charged with loitering and unlawful use of a controlled substance. Scandura was arrested while sitting in the driver seat of the 2008 Mazda on Florida Avenue.

Jessica Cuomo, 19, of Commack, was arrested Nov. 15 in Commack and charged with criminal possession of marijuana, loitering and unlawful use of a controlled substance. Cuomo is accused of possessing more than 25 grams of marijuana and using cocaine in the back seat of the 2008 Mazda on Florida Avenue.

Hauppauge

Yanet Aguilar, 38, of Brentwood, was arrested Nov. 17 in Islandia and charged with second-degree burglary. Police said Aguilar was arrested on Raymond Drive after allegedly breaking into a home on Carroll Street through a side window and fleeing with possessions.

Frank Richards, 22, of Nesconset, was arrested Nov. 10 at his home in Nesconset and charged with second degree harrassment and resisting arrest. Richards is accused of shoving a police officer in an attempt to flee after being found with what reports indicate were pills, a hypodermic instrument and marijuana while officers were serving a bench warrant for his arrest.

Port Jefferson

Joseph Pillus, Jr., 47, from Port Jefferson, was arrested on Nov. 16 for submitting a false statement to an insurance company. He reportedly tried to submit a claim or other benefit containing misrepresentation.

Craig Eastman, 39, from Port Jefferson Station, was arrested on Nov. 16 at 12:25 a.m. and charged with third degree assault with intent to cause injury. He reportedly struck a female above left eye, causing a laceration.

Joseph Reyes, 44, an undomiciled man, was arrested on Nov. 17 and charged with disorderly conduct: obscene language or gesture. He reported was screaming and cursing at people in the Mather Hospital parking lot.

Miller Place-Rocky Point

Marc Feingold, 49, from Miller Place, was arrested on Nov. 13 at Higbie Lane in West Islip and charged with second degree obstruction of governmental administration. He reportedly interfered with a police investigation while another party was being handcuffed.

Nicholas Provenzano, 24, from Rocky Point, was arrested on Nov. 12 at 7:35 a.m. at in Rocky Point and charged with seventh degree criminal possession of a controlled substance. He was allegedly spotted in a 2008 Volkswagen with Xanax.

Charles Killain, from Rocky Point, was arrested on Nov. 17 at about 7 p.m. at 346 Route 25A in Rocky Point and charged with disorderly conduct. He was allegedly screaming and cursing at people and resisted arrest.
