Crimes Nearby: Multiple DWI Arrests; Stalking

The following arrest information was supplied by the Suffolk County Police Department. It does not indicate a conviction.

Suffolk County police reported the following arrests:

Kings Park

Ronald Lombardi, 21, of Kings Park, was arrested Nov. 9 in Hauppauge and charged with petit larceny. Lombardi allegedly sold a ring he was holding for someone to a pawn shop.

Natalie Cooper, of Kings Park, was arrested Nov. 5 in Kings Park and charged with driving while ability impaired by a combination of alcohol and drugs.

John Zieran, of Fort Salonga was arrested on Nov. 3 and charged with driving while intoxicated. According to police, Zieran was driving on Juliet Lane in Fort Salonga when he was pulled over for a traffic stop and charged with DWI.

Commack

Efrain Delcid, 41, of Central Islip, was arrested Nov. 12 in Commack and charged with assault with intent to cause physical injury with a weapon. Delcid is accused of stabbing another person with a knife. The victim was taken to the hospital.

William Braun, 64, of Commack, was arrested Nov. 12 in Brentwood and charged with first offense DWI.

Robert Turtoro, 58, of Commack, was arrested Nov. 11 in Kings Park and charged with first offense DWI. Reports state Turtoro struck a utility pole in a 1999 Jeep Wrangler.

Hauppauge

Robert Savoia, 31, of Hauppauge, was arrested Nov. 7 in Islandia on charges of first-degree robbery and criminal possession of stolen property. Savoia allegedly threatened another person with a weapon on Old Nichols Road and was found with a stolen stereo system.

James Mason, 24, of Islandia, was arrested Nov. 7 in Islandia and charged with second-degree burglary and fifth-degree criminal possession of stolen property. Mason burglarized a home on Hancock Street on Oct. 21 at 7 a.m. and stole jewelry, according to police reports.

Jason Richards, 21, of Brentwood, was arrested Nov. 4 in Hauppauge and charged with fourth-degree criminal possession of stolen property. Richards allegedly possessed stolen parts for a 2005 Honda motorcycle.

Paul Denkewitz, 44, of Nesconset, was arrested Nov. 2 at 1 a.m. at his home on Nottingham Court in Nesconset and charged with fourth-degree stalking, a misdemeanor.


Port Jefferson

Julio Aguilar, 55, from Port Jefferson Station, was arrested on Nov. 8 at 12:39 p.m. near Hallock Ave. and Route 112 in Port Jefferson Station. He was charged with third degree assault with intent to cause physical injury for allegedly punching someone in the face.

Mario Mendez, 45, from Coram, was arrested in Port Jefferson Station on Nov. 6 at 10:40 a.m. and charged with third degree criminal possession of a weapon. He was allegedly carrying a switchblade and a firearm.

Matthew Kurovics, 31 from Port Jefferson Station, was arrested on Nov. 8 and charged with petty larceny. He allegedly stole money from a cash register at Z-Pita on Main Street in Port Jefferson.
