Crimes Nearby: Stolen Makeup from East Setauket Walmart

The following arrest information was supplied by the Suffolk County Police Department. It does not indicate a conviction.

Suffolk County police reported the following arrests.

Three Village

Kimberley Arza, 43, of Mt. Sinai, was arrested May 15 in Setauket and charged with DWI. Police say Arza was driving while intoxicated when she crossed over the double yellow line and crashed into another vehicle on Main Street in Setauket at 10:30 p.m.

Andrea Lefaye, 18, and a 17-year-old girl, were arrested May 17 at Walmart in East Setauket and charged with petty larceny. The pair, both from Centereach, allegedly stole makeup items, a DVD, and assorted other merchandise.

Michael Massaro, 24, of Setauket, was arrested May 15 at 9:15 p.m. in West Islip and charged with seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance. He allegedly possessed prescription pills for which he did not have a prescription.

Commack

Joshua Webb, 22, of Commack, was arrested May 18 at the Fourth Police Precinct in Hauppauge and charged with criminal possession of stolen property in the fourth-degree for items valued at more than $1,000. Police said Webb was at Jewelry Traders on Main Street in Smithtown when he stole jewelry belonging to a woman.

James Deluca, 18, of West Islip, was arrested May 16 in Commack and charged with petit larceny. Deluca stole a video game from Walmart on Crooked Hill Road by placing it in his pocket and leaving without paying, according to police reports.

Sara Amorello, 29, of Brentwood, was arrested May 16 in Commack and charged with operating a motor vehicle while impaired by drugs in the first degree. Police said Amorello was driving a 2006 Hyundai eastbound on Motor Parkway. Amorello came to officers attention because the car reportedly had no front driver’s side tire and there was a piece of metal along the roadway under the vehicle.

Port Jefferson

William Velez, 34, of Coram, was arrested in the Port Jefferson Long Island Rail Road parking lot on May 15 at about 2:30 p.m. and charged with criminal possession of stolen property in the fifth degree and resisting arrest. According to police, Velez had stolen someone’s Blackberry. Police said he pulled away and struggled when they were attempting to place him into custody.

Luis Rodrigues Lopez, 21, of Port Jefferson Station, was arrested on Grove Street in Port Jefferson Station on May 14 at about 11:20 a.m. and charged with operating a motor vehicle impaired by drugs. According to Suffolk County Police, Rodrigues Lopez was in the driver’s seat of an idled 2003 Saturn when he was found to be under the influence of drugs.

Miller Place-Rocky Point

A 17-year-old Rocky Point boy was arrested May 18 in Rocky Point and charged with assault with intent to cause physical injury with a weapon, a felony. Police said he injured another person by hitting them in the face with a piece of wood.

A 17-year-old Sound Beach boy was arrested May 17 in Sound Beach and charged with assault with intent to cause physical injury with a weapon, a felony. Police said he injured another person by hitting them in the face with a piece of wood.

A 17-year-old Sound Beach boy was arrested May 14 in Sound Beach and charged with assault with intent to cause physical injury with a weapon, a felony. Police said he injured another person by hitting them in the face with a piece of wood.

Kurt Knoernschild, 54, of Lake Ronkonkoma, was arrested May 17 in Mt. Sinai and charged with DWI with two previous convictions in 10 years. He was arrested on CR 83 and Mount Sinai Coram Road in Mt. Sinai. Police said he failed to stop at a steady red turn arrow and was seen failing to maintain his lane.
