Injuries Sustained in Wednesday Night Nesconset Crash

The drivers of the cars were brought to Stony Brook University Hospital and treated for non-life-threatening injuries.

Suffolk County Police responded to a car accident in Nesconset that sent drivers of two cars to the hospital Wednesday night.

According to police, officers received the call of a crash on Nesconset Highway at Lake Avenue in Nesconset at 8:13 p.m. Police said a 2011 Volvo was traveling eastbound on Nesconset Highway and a 2005 Chevy Malibu was traveling westbound and crashed when the driver of the Malibu attempted to make a left turn.  

Both drivers were taken to Stony Brook University Hospital for non-life-threatening injuries.
