Man Hit by Car, Killed on Main Street
A motor vehicle crash killed a pedestrian on Main Street at Lawrence Avenue early Sunday morning.
A pedestrian was killed in an early morning motor vehicle accident on Main Street at Lawrence Avenue Sunday morning, according to police.
The Suffolk County Police Department Fourth Precinct said a 1998 Honda struck Seamus Byrne, 33, of Smithtown, at approximately 1:45 a.m.
Michael Armentano, 24, also of Smithtown, was the driver.

Byrne was pronounced dead at Stony Brook University Medical Center.
