Police Looking for Liquor Store Thief

Police say the unknown man stole two bottles of liquor back in November.

Suffolk County Police are looking for information leading to the arrest of a man who stole bottles of liquor from Smithtown Wine and Liquor.

According to police, the man described as black, approximately 30-years-old, 5-feet 10-inches tall and 180 pounds stole a bottle of Johnnie Walker Gold and a bottle of Johnny Walker Black on Nov. 13 from the store, located at 67 Route 111 in Smithtown. Police said the man put the bottles in his jacket at roughly 11:20 a.m.

The man was wearing a black jacket, black and grey plaid shirt, blue jeans and boots at the time of the theft.

Information could be sent in anonymously by calling Suffolk County Crime Stoppers at 1-800-220-TIPS. A cash reward of up to $5,000 for information that leads to an arrest is available.
