Police are currently looking for a man who made purchases at Saint James gas station with a stolen credit card, according to a statement released by the Suffolk County Police Sixth Precinct Detectives and Crime Stoppers.

According to the statement, a Holbrook woman reported her purse was stolen from her car when the vehicle was broken into on Monday, Sept. 6, 2010, in the parking lot at West Meadow Beach. Hours after the incident occurred, her Chase Visa Card was used at the A and A Gas Station on Middle Country Road in Saint James.

Police are currently looking for the suspect, a white male in his 30s, 5-foot-6-inches in height with a medium build. The man was wearing a baseball cap, a gray tee shirt and gray sweat pants at the time of the incident, and left the scene driving a red pick-up truck with new license plates, which police said could be a Ford Ranger.
