Police: Man Arrested for Stealing Propane Tanks After Gas Odor Call

The man arrested on fourth-degree grand larceny charges and will be arraigned Saturday.

Suffolk County Police arrested a Smithtown man Friday after he allegedly stole propane cans. 

According to police, Cody Mccune, 20, of Smithtown was arrested on Rose Lane in Smithtown on fourth-degree grand larceny charges, a felony, after allegedly stealing propane cans. Reports state a gas smell came from the area of the arrest on Friday morning. Police said the smell came from Mccune releasing the propane from the cans.

Mccune will be held overnight and arraigned Saturday at the First District Court in Central Islip.

"Why are Smithtown teachers continuing to pay for school supplies out of their ownRead More pocket?" Since when? Ever see the big list of supplies kids get in their folders at the end of the year for them to bring in next year? I think you're talking about the wrong school district.
