Police Seeking Public's Help to Locate Shoplifter

Police seek assistance identifying a man who's shoplifted from a grocery store in Islandia.

Police are seeking leads on the identity and whereabouts of a man who has shoplifted from an Islandia grocery store multiple times since May.

The man pictured above reportedly stole shampoo from the Stop & Shop located at 1730 Route 454 in Islandia on at least four occasions since May, police said. 

Police are offering up to $5,000 for information that leads to an arrest. If you have information on the identity or location of this individual, call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-220-TIPS. All calls will be kept confidential.

It was head lice shampoo and he was embarrassed to go to the counter with it. Understandable.
