This guy appears to be hitting day laborer shapeup locations. With the cold snap he's probably out of work. I'd expect these robberies to subside somewhat with warmer weather.

Another one in Ronkonkoma last night. Ronkonkoma Ave and expressway dr south. It was a convienence store I heard. No one robs this many places because he needs a few bucks to eat. Warmer weather won't change anything, this guy has a drug problem. I hope he gets caught before he either kills someone or he walks in on someone who is prepared to protect his business.

Who said he needs a few bucks to eat? Do you think he's living in a cardboard box? How about clothing and shelter, perhaps he has dependents who can't get social services because of immigration issues. Maybe he has a car. Do you think he's walking to these varied locations? And then of course there is your catch all-drugs.

People with immigration issues can get more from social services than people who are legal and working part time. In the story above they sayhe left on foot but in many of the other robberies it was noted he fled in a small silver car, maybe his, maybe not. I only mention the drugs because more often the money stolen for food or other necessities lasts a little longer. He's hitting a place every way too often for it to be for basic needs....... but maybe not..... we will find out because he get caught soon.
