Police: Woman Drove Into Vacant Nesconset Storefront

An elderly woman, whose name and age has not been disclosed, drove into an empty Nesconset storefront Saturday afternoon, according to police.

A woman drove her car through a vacant storefront in Nesconset Saturday afternoon, according to police.

Police said an elderly woman crashed into the Quick 24 shopping center, at 260 Smithtown Boulevard in Nesconset at around 4:50 p.m. Nesconset Fire Rescue was notified to check for structural damage. The make and model of the vehicle has not been disclosed.

There were no reported injuries and no charges have been filed, according to police.
